Shanique Camille is a license professional hairstylist with 11 years of experience in the industry. Going back to almost ten years ago, her drive to become a hair care stylist while in her teens,who not only wanted to style hair of all types as well as providing quality services for healthy growing hair. It was a passion of hers to give more than just a style. In 2007, while in high school she was given the opportunity to take on a trade and at that point, her passion grew tremendously. Shanique completed two years in beauty school all in the same year of graduating from high school, and went on to further her career in beauty. With an associate degree in Business Adminstration and Marketing, owning a salon in the future became her ideal goal. In her hometown, she started practicing her skills at World of Beauty while working as a braider/washer.Shanique went on to assist at Albi NYC/Alibi25 salons as an Apprentice in New York City and worked along side celebrity hairstylist Hadiiya Barbel to create custom wigs for clients in need of non-surgical hair replacement services,due to medical conditions leading to hair loss. Shanique has worked in events/photoshoots for Refinery 29, Elastic Qp products, Miss Jessie's, Sunny Anderson, Daisy Lewellyn just to name a few. In May 2015, marked a new beginning as she became the owner of Shanique Camille Hair Studio in White Plains,NY.
